About Dr. Michelle Dickens
Michelle has been married to her king, Preston, for nearly 30 years! Early on in their marriage, Preston and Michelle walked through the loss of their three children – Alexis was born in 2002 at 19 weeks, Joshua was born in 2003 at 15 weeks, and Bryanna was born in 2003 at 22 weeks, just 10 days short of viability.
Six years later, after moving back to Las Vegas from Colorado Springs, Michelle would learn that her progesterone levels were too low and would hit its peak for childbirth, indicating to her body that it was time to deliver – before it was.
After a long journey through the shadows of depression, and the near destruction of her marriage, God began forging a genuine faith in her heart for Jesus, the ultimate Healer, Restorer and Redeemer.

On her healing journey, Michelle would learn that God never leaves you empty handed. In exchange for Alexis, He gave her His Peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). In exchange for Joshua, she experienced His power that brings death to life (1 Peter 1:5). In exchange for Bryanna, He would show His glory (1 Peter 5:7). These divine exchanges would continue in the exchange of depression for His joy, and in the near destruction of her marriage for His life-giving, resurrected love!
As a result of her journey, God has invited Michelle into His work of healing souls and finding deep rest in Him through discipleship into a genuine faith. By God’s great grace, Michelle earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) at Liberty University, and is currently an Adjunct Professor, helping to Train Champions for Christ. She had the privilege of starting the LIFE Center, a biblical counseling ministry rooted in the context of the local church, discipling and teaching others to disciple through life’s challenges.

Michelle has spoken to various audiences in women’s conferences, trainings and in small group settings. With 20+ years of experience in ministry and helping hurting people, Michelle has a fierce passion to disciple others through the hard to Jesus. If you are hurting in grief, struggling in your marriage, drowning in depression, or suffering various other challenges in life – there is a way through! And, when you don’t have the strength to take another step, Michelle will be there to hold the space for you until you find the strength to take one.​
